S.C. URB RULMENTI SUCEAVA S.A. is located in SUCEAVA, a city from the north-eastern side of ROMANIA.
The plant has direct acces to the DN 17 National Road, which is a link to European Road E58, Vatra Dornei – Oradea – Budapest. The location is close to the European Road E85 and at 20 Km to the international airport. Also, the company has a direct access to railway through Suceava West railway station by means of an internal railway with access to the storage areas for raw materials and final products.
The plant covers a total area of 167,000 sq meters, from which 54,000 sq meters represent production floor space.
S.C. URB RULMENTI SUCEAVA S.A., founded in 1989, is a Joint Stock Company, having 100% private capital.
Ownership: SC BADR BRASOV SA (61.52%), SC CIAD SRL BUCURESTI (35.48%) & others.
Company owns all production facilities for manufacturing bearing components (rings, balls, rollers, cages, shields) and for bearings assembling. URB Suceava is the only bearing producer in Romania having the facilities to manufacture bearing rings both from bars and tubes. The designing of bearings, manufacturing technologies and tools is performed in the URB Suceava Design & Development Department.
The company has also its own tool shop and maintenance workshop.
